This law must be followed before
you can have any chance of successfully using the Law of Attraction.
The Law of Receiving is really the first fundamental law of creation
and it says "give first then receive". It is explained beautifully
by this quote from the New Testament, "Give, and it shall be given
unto you; good measure, pressed down, and shaken together, and
running over."
If we dissect this quote we see
that first you must give before you receive. It does not say first
receive and then give from what you have received. No, first give,
even if you think you haven't anything to give. In fact if you try
to receive before you have given you close the door to
receiving.
That's right, if you try to take
from life's abundance before you have contributed to it you get
nothing. Think of it like a savings account that pays an incredible
rate of interest. As long as you keep paying into the account it
will pay you interest and dividends that far out weigh what you have
given. However, if you stop giving and continue to withdraw you
exhaust the account and there will be nothing to draw upon.
You don't have any money to give?
It doesn't say you have to give money. Give your time, your
creativity, and intelligence. Freely give your love and
encouragement to others. Give people your prayers and positive
thoughts. And one day when you do have money you will give part of
that also.
Make giving a part of your
life. Let it become part of who you are. You wouldn't try
to live without breathing, would you? Of course not. To do so would
put an end to your physical life. So it is with giving. To stop
giving is to put an end to your spiritual life and separates you
from the abundance our creator placed at your disposal.
Make a decision to start today.
When you share your happiness with others it will increase your
happiness. It's the same with love, creativity, intelligence, and
yes even money. Give until you can't stand the pleasure anymore.
(Think about that one for a moment;-)
I firmly believe we are each put on
this earth with the responsibility to make it a better place before
we leave. Volunteer your time to worthwhile organizations. Help your
family and friends. Share a smile with a stranger. It all helps to
make the world a better place.
One word of
caution. Be careful of where and to whom you give. If
someone rejects your gift, brush the dust from your feet and find
someone else to give it to. If someone takes your gift and wastes
it, give it to someone who will put it to better use.
If you give money to a friend to
buy food to feed his family and he instead buys drugs to satisfy his
habit then you have wasted your gift. Nothing good will come from
this. Instead give him your prayers and give his wife a loaf of
bread.
Remember then, prepare yourself to
receive by giving freely and often. To do so will allow the Law of
Attraction to work in your life.
